Yes, but we recommend that you leave it on instead. Lumin is designed to be left on. If the brightness bothers you at night time, we can set a time for the screen to go into night mode to reduce ambient light.

The Lumin Screen is more than a tablet; it is a whole ecosystem that’s monitored and supported, and most issues can be fixed remotely. There are no logins or passwords. Most of the functions are available with one touch.

Yes. We support both iOS and Android for all recent smartphones.

There is no limit with Lumin Bright. You can add as many as you want. Lumin Clear however is limited to 6 Supporters to ensure they all appear on one screen.

The Lumin Screen and App have “Help & Support” features with detailed articles and videos to help you out. There are also one-touch email and call buttons if you’d like to speak to one of our Lumin Support agents. We will assign you a ticket to track any issues. Our Support team is available during Melbourne business hours, Mondays to Friday 9AM to 5PM.

It can run for up to 8 hours depending what functions are being used, although we recommend it is plugged in and connected to power at all times.

Only your registered supporters who are using the Lumin App can receive your video calls or video call your screen. But it is possible for you to call (audio only) other people who are not your supporters if you have the Dial Pad feature enabled. It is also possible for other people who know your Lumin screen’s phone number to call you. Each Lumin screen has a corresponding landline number.

Yes, Lumin has its own local number and dial pad if you opt for the full-featured phone option. You can disconnect your landline, and if you want to retain your existing number you can arrange a permanent re-direct from your existing carrier for a small monthly fee.

No, you can use the standard functions as much as you wish. It is all included in the monthly fees.

Music is available through the radio function, but you cannot upload your own music to Lumin.

This feature is currently not yet available. Supporters can however send photos to the Lumin Screen via the Photos or Messages function of the Lumin App.

No, Lumin is designed to use tailor made Apps for that device which means we cannot load any App from the App Store or Google Play.

Lumin is not trying to replicate an iPad or computer, it’s a dedicated appliance. Although we can add an Internet Browser App to your screen if you wish.
