October 1st, the International Day of Older Persons, celebrates the contributions of seniors everywhere. However, it's also a reminder to address the issue of digital exclusion. Digital exclusion can result in social isolation, restricted access to services, and a diminishing sense of belonging.

The divide between generations

According to the Australian Digital Inclusion Index, those aged 65 and over are the most digitally excluded group. Causes include affordability, impacts of ageing, lack of digital literacy training, and fear and mistrust of technology.
