What is Lumin Cloud?

Lumin Cloud is the data and analytics layer of the Lumin platform — where operational data from the Lumin platform is stored, reported on, and made available for analysis. It's primarily an operator-side capability, used by villages, care providers, and aged care facilities to understand how Lumin is being used and what it's telling them about their community. Lumin Cloud is the current name for what was previously referred to as "Lumin Data Warehouse" in some older materials.

What Lumin Cloud provides

Operational reporting — platform usage, message delivery, broadcast viewership, alert volumes, response times. Engagement reporting — which residents are using which features, how often, where engagement is high or low. Outcome reporting — for organisations measuring outcomes against Lumin's introduction. Custom dashboards — operators can build their own views of the data. Data export — for further analysis in operator-side BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).

What you can see in Lumin Cloud

Common reports: communication effectiveness (Community Message open rates, response rates, by audience segment); resident engagement (daily/weekly active residents, feature use, online time); alert and event patterns (emergency alerts over time, response times, false-alarm rates); connection health (uptime, offline events, by-dwelling reliability); Portal adoption (which features staff teams are using); plan and module utilisation (which features are getting the most value). The exact reports available depend on the operator's plan and which modules are enabled.

Who Lumin Cloud is for

Village managers and care professional leadership wanting operational visibility. Reporting and analytics teams producing reports for boards, funders, or regulators. Quality and continuous improvement teams measuring outcomes. Multi-site operators with cross-site reporting needs. Day-to-day staff don't usually interact with Lumin Cloud directly — the Community Management Portal is their tool. Lumin Cloud is more for the people who ask "how is this going?" rather than "what's happening today?"

Privacy considerations

Lumin Cloud data is operational and aggregated, not clinical or personal. Resident-level data is anonymised or pseudonymised where appropriate. Access is role-based — not everyone with Portal access has Lumin Cloud access. Audit trails track who's seen what. Data residency follows the platform's overall data residency (Australia for Australian customers). Getting started
