How do I send messages, photos, or videos to the CareHub?

The Lumin Supporters App makes it easy to send messages, photos, and short videos from your phone to someone's CareHub. They appear in a clear, simple way on their end — designed so the person on the CareHub can see them at a glance and respond without fuss.

Sending a text message

• Open the Lumin Supporters App.
• Tap Messages from the home screen.
• Tap the text bar at the bottom and type your message.
• Tap Send.
• Choose a one-touch reply option for the CareHub user — for example, "Got it!" or "Thank you." This is what they'll see as a quick reply button on their screen.
• Tap Send Now. The message lands on the CareHub almost immediately. The person can either tap the one-touch reply you provided, or open the message and respond in their own way.

Sending a photo

There are three ways to share photos, depending on the kind of moment you want to create. 1. As a message. Same flow as a text message, but with a photo attached:

• In Messages, tap the camera icon at the bottom-left.
• Take a photo or pick one from your phone's library.
• Choose a one-touch reply option.
• Tap Send Now. Photos sent this way appear in the Messages album in the CareHub's Photos, and also appear in the CareHub's slideshow. 2. Added directly to Lumin Photos. Good for sharing several photos at once, or for slowly building a shared library:
• In the Lumin Supporters App, tap Settings → Photos → Phone Photos.
• Select the photos you'd like to upload.
• Confirm. These appear in the CareHub's Photos and slideshow without sending a notification. 3. From your phone's gallery, using share-to-Lumin. On both iOS and Android, when viewing a photo in your phone's gallery, you can use Share and select Lumin to send the photo to the CareHub.

Sending a short video

Short videos can be sent the same way as photos:

• In Messages, tap the camera icon.
• Record or pick a video from your library.
• Add a one-touch reply.
• Tap Send Now. Videos appear in the Messages album on the CareHub and can be replayed by tapping them.

What appears on the CareHub

Messages, photos, and videos arrive with a gentle notification — they don't interrupt anything the person is doing. The CareHub user can:

• Tap a one-touch reply
• Open the message and view it more fully
• Reply with their own text or photo If the same Supporter sends many things in a row, they're grouped together so the CareHub doesn't feel overwhelming.
