How do I use the CareHub Entertainment library?

The CareHub comes with an Entertainment library — radio, podcasts, and Lumin TV — that you can enjoy without setting anything up. Just tap the Entertainment tile on the home screen.

What's available

• Radio. A selection of Australian and New Zealand stations covering news, music genres, talk, and classics. Tap a station to start listening; tap another to switch.
• Podcasts. A curated selection covering current affairs, history, comedy, gardening, music, and similar. New episodes appear automatically when shows release them.
• Lumin TV. Short videos including how-to tutorials for the CareHub, gentle exercise content, and occasional features. You don't need to log in to any service. There are no passwords, no accounts to remember, no advertising.

Personalising your library

The default Entertainment library is curated by Lumin — a selection of stations and podcasts that work for most people. If your favourite station, podcast, or kind of show isn't in there, that's easy to fix. Contact Lumin Support and let us know:

• A specific radio station you'd like added
• A podcast you'd like to follow
• A topic, genre, or kind of show you'd enjoy We'll source it for you. There's no extra charge for adding content like this — it's part of the service.

Listening on a Bluetooth speaker

If you'd like louder sound, or to share music in a larger room, pair a Bluetooth speaker with the CareHub. There's a separate article on connecting Bluetooth devices.

Why the library is curated rather than open

The CareHub is designed to be simple to use — no passwords, no logins, no app stores. Curating the library is part of that. A blank screen with millions of options can be more overwhelming than helpful, particularly for people who haven't grown up with streaming services. If you'd like to access something specific from a service like Spotify or Netflix, those can be activated on request — see the separate article on adding your own apps.
